To balance out the very seriousness of the previous books, I’ve picked up The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien (do I even need to clarify who wrote it?)
A story about adventure, and a specific hobbit’s absolute reluctance to participate in it, The Hobbit follows the story of Bilbo Baggins being bombarded by a group of Dwares to go an adventure to the Misty Mountains where a great dragon (Smaug) has taken over and guards a heap of treasure.
It’s such a fun read, and such a good ol’ fashioned tale.
From this one book, there were four movies made (🤷🏻), but still a very fun watch and read.
