Bon Iver’s new album finally dropped in full, and goodness is it a nice one.
Comprising of only 4 tracks, ‘Sable,’ feels like a completely stripped down version of what the artists have been creating over the last 10+ years.
It’s like they’ve identified what the project’s essence is, and completely focussed on emphasising only that and discarded the rest.
It probably won’t be for everyone, and it definitely isn’t something that you'll have playing in the background, but it feels deeply personal, intimate and soothing, so definitely worth a listen.

Writing-out and assembling my reflections into story-formatted pieces to share with strangers on the internet, in the hopes that they may benefit from them, seems to bring me great joy.
If you enjoyed this piece and feel like supporting it, you can do so buying me a virtual coffee.
